IceCap Photo Contest - Win Reef Lighting!
The addition of the Anthony Calfo Signature Series of Metal Halide Lamps and our T5 Lamps this year gives IceCap Inc. a full line of reef lighting solutions. With research and time-tested partners, we offer T5 and metal halide lamps to suit any blend of lighting needs for an aquarist.
To celebrate the release of the new lamps IceCap is running a photo contest.
Categories:
1) Best Fluorescent Lit Display (tanks illuminated only by fluorescent lamps)
2) Best Halide or Mixed Light Display (tanks illuminated by metal halide lamp(s) with or without fluorescent supplement(s)).
The contest will be judged by industry acclaimed mentors and photographers Anthony Calfo and Steven Pro. Finalists, semi-finalists and other submitted photos will be displayed on the IceCap website.
1st Prize
Winner's Choice of two metal halide pendant kits or a four bulb T5 Retro Kit with lamps ($500 - 600 value!)
2nd Prize
Winner's Choice of one metal halide pendant kit or a two bulb T5 Retro Kit with lamps ($300 - 400 value!)
3rd Prize
Winner's choice of two Anthony Calfo signature series metal halide lamps or four IceCap T5 fluorescent lamps ($100+ value)

The introduction of IceCap's line of T5 lamps makes our lighting offerings more complete.
The IceCap T5 lamps are made by UVL (a leader in fluorescent lamp technology) specifically for IceCap to compliment the IceCap ballasts. They utilize the same phosphor blends with a heavy-duty filament designed to be overdriven by the IceCap ballast. The combined IceCap T5 system (ballast - reflectors - lamps, designed to work together for maximum performance with minimal electricity) is vastly superior to anything else on the market.

Contest Details

· Photo submissions are to be made to contest@icecapinc.com no later than June 30th
· 5 submissions per person maximum
· All images are to be submitted by the sole owner and in original form
· A description of the tank lighting for each image is required (lamp types, quantities plus ballast type)
· Partial or full tank display shots are equally welcome... composition counts
· Winner will be announced by July 14th, 2009
