It made big news in Hawaii when Bush protected the Northwest Hawaiian Island Chain, and we studied this in school as part of our curriculum. I am glad that more of the beautiful places on earth have been afforded protection. Every bit counts. :D
 
I thought colonies were "out" for nations ;) It's not like PR where they are right next to us.
