Media reactors?

They say the best media reactor is one that you will keep up on. So far I've used the bus dual media reactor and I'm currently using two aqua-maxx reactors for carbon and gfo. I really don't like the aqua-maxx. The sponge filters to hold everything thing are constantly clogging.

What media reactors are all of you using?

i only use the brs single reactors before and no issue. now i only use the co2 scrubbers. i dont use any reactors for gfo / carbon.

You generally want a pre filter to help stop the clogging.

Otherwise the sponges end up just being your mechanical filtration and clog up like any other sponge/sock.

I used a BRS reactor in the past. Have a TLF one now. I usually just put carbon in a bag though.
