Neptune Aquatics

What are your favorite reef fish?

Hey AJ,

Been a long time. That thing "never" worked for you? Wow...I am really sorry about that. I'll have to make it up to you in corals or something. I just took a look at your build pictures. Are those current? I'd love to come over and see that Solaris light in action. I've been contemplating one for a while. Anyway, thanks for the info on the fish. I know about the powder's affinity to ich and I'm willing to QT the hell out of it. My tank has been fishless for almost 10 weeks now so I'm quite sure it is clean. What is left of my fish are in QT until I can finish up a few plumbing tasks. All new fish will be QT'd for no less than six weeks. This last run with ich was catastrophic. Not dure to the ich, but the pain of QT'ing so many fish and then the power outage.

My top 5 (not necessarily in order if tank size was not an issue)

Chevron Tang
Regal Angel (red sea variety)
Magnificant Foxface
Radiant Wrasse
Desjardin's Sailfin Tang

I had a Nice Regal... It was very nice. The issue is if you have Zoas it's a NONO. They will bite them to death.

Tangs (all kinds are great), Angels are dangerous....

Here are some good examples:
