Can we do a car wash event at our next get together?

They do have everything they need in the van including water, power supply and all the appliances so they can stop anywhere and start washing. Just got my car detailed by them at my work place so I can answer this lol

    Suggestions for tilting tank

I just tried it out. Two shims easily lifted the foot off the ground. pretty amazing how well these work. didn't even have to drain any water

How do I check that lol, from the pic you can see that piece of vinyl is flipping up because of this but I don't think it can shift

    Suggestions for tilting tank

I can adjust it if I can get some weight off this foot and I've done that before, just want to insert something underneath that does not bend easily to distribute the weight.

I see.. but I don't think I would be able to hammer shims in when the feet have already sunk into the floor though

    Suggestions for tilting tank

So the UNS R120 which is around 110g I have in my apartment is slowly tilting forward and a little bit to the left. Through measuring the water level it is about 1/4'' off now. It was perfectly level when I set it up a couple months ago. The reason seems to be the leveling feet in front are...

    Albert's UNS R120

Yea seems like that's happening already. Maybe I should make some frags before some of em get choked. It's just hard to frag when they have grown onto the rock

    Albert's UNS R120

Another photo that shows how much the zoa rock has grown, running out of space soon! I wonder how that rainbow incinerator polyp invaded that pikachu frag...

    Albert's UNS R120

It's been a while since the last update. Got some more corals in the meantime so now the systems is fully stocked  I did add a few rocks that I got from aqua rocks, they're pretty good for filling in empty space and they do hold frags easily. I like the magnetic branch ones that can go on...

Planning for a new full-size aquarium (Ultum R120 or R150?) and full automation

Oh I am definitely not talking about that 3d printed adapter that UNS sells XD. I did buy that one and it does not work at all !!! It will be super noisy if you try to plumb a reef mat with that thing (water will be overflowing from the top of the adapter and falling right into the sump), I've...

Planning for a new full-size aquarium (Ultum R120 or R150?) and full automation

Yea the only issue I had with UNS systems is that their sump isn't designed to work with most filter rollers. They are only compatible with the reef factory ones but I believe they went bankrupt a while back. I did contact them about this and they say they are working on their own filter roller...

    My First ever icp

Had a similar situation last year. Turns out there was brass corroding in my tank and leached mainly copper and zinc. So I would check if any equipment or magnet is failing if none of them were used in quarantine before. For removal I used cuprisorb + triton detox + poly filter. imo poly filter...
