Thanks. Was a different color than the previous outbreak so I assumed it was a different algae.

Slowly seem to have fought off the cyano in my tank, but now I seem to be getting this orange/brown stuff. Is it the cyano again, or something else?

IDK if this is common, but I have seen shrimp gobies go for smaller pods.

I recently attached a zoa frag to a chunk of live rock, and while for a few weeks it was doing fine, last week I notices that one of the heads didn't open all the way. At the time I assumed that this was simply because it had been disturbed and would slowly open up given time, but that doesn't...

IDK if this got solved, but my Yasha used to disappear for like three weeks every so often, then come back like nothing had changed. I've seen him eat pods, so I assume he's fine even if he doesn't get fed.

I was breaking down a friend of a friend's tank this past weekend, and ended up with a mid sized toadstool. I've put it in my tank, but unfortunately the only place I can put it is close-ish to my Duncan coral (they're about 2.5-3" away from each other). are these two going to end up irritating...

Update: have not seen them on my corals in the past few days, but will try to observe them to see if they appear more. Although I set up a media reactor the other day which somehow sucked up a bunch of them, so that might have been part of it...

Yup, those look like the ones in my tank. Caught a couple snooping around my zoas last night, will try to take some video if I see them again.

Yeah, my amphipod population seems to have exploded in the past few days and I've started noticing some big ones. Gonna keep them under observation for a couple days, see what happens. Unfortunately I've got a pretty small tank (15 gallons) so that kind of limits what livestock I can put in to...

The other two I have (Duncan and some xenias) seem fine, just the zoas that seem to be closing up

So far just closed up. Have been closed for the past couple days though, and have seen some of the amphipods creep around the corals (definitely amphipods btw)

He reappeared about a month ago, yeah. Exactly the same as he was.

None since he stopped showing up. The most recent was a peppermint shrimp about 6 weeks ago, which he didn't seem to care about.

That sounds like it's the case, some of the live rock I added recently definitely had pods in it
