What eats this type of algae?

Try pulling the longer patches by hand and then drop a Nudi right on the remains of the patch. I have noticed they sometimes have a hard time with Bryopsis that has grown fairly long, but once I pulled the majority of it off the rock, they cleaned up the remains of the patch quite well.

What eats this type of algae?

If this is true, I don't think it's enough for them to survive on. I lost a couple after they ate all of the bryopsis in my tank and could'nt hook up with anyone to pass them on to.

What eats this type of algae?

Bryopsis is the main diet of Luttuce Nudibranchs, I have had excellent results in the past with them. You of course have to worry about powerheads and the such, but seeing as they are not really Nudi's, you don't have to worry about them releasing any toxins if they die. If you have a large...

    Friend or foe spreading fast

That looks like what I got as a hitch hiker. It grew out to be a very nice addition to the tank. It will crowd any corals near it though. Here is one of the pieces I have growing. It's about the size of a golfball.

    Mandarin and Refugium Problem

Would the amount of food needed be a nutrient problem for a tank this size? Not arguing your point as you said you raise them, just curious.

    Mandarin and Refugium Problem

I think you are going to be hard pressed to get a pod population large enough to sustain a Manderin in a fuge that will fit on the back of a 24. If I were you, I would concentrate on either finding a Mandy that is eating frozen food or weaning one onto it yourself. From My experience, the...

Have you guys seen this yet?

How are all these companies coming out with LED lighting for aquariums? Did'nt a company patent the idea and drive PFO out of business for selling them?

    Chalice lovers

They are fairly easy, lighting varies from piece to piece, the water quality does'nt need to be pristine, much like most other LPS. Mine seem to like a medium flow. Some grow fairly fast, but it seems most grow pretty slow. Why did I get the ones I have? A few for their color, one was...

    I bought a monster

I went back for the Green one with the unusual markings and I lied, there is a line on it. The pattern is unlike any other I've seen though. It might just be a juvi pattern, but I've seen much smaller with the regular markings. I hope the markings does'nt change to a run of the mill GCG...

ideas how to reduce flow on mjmod?

Search through online hobby shops for companies such as Dumas. They make the props used for many of the MJ mods. You can get a multitude of props in different pitches and diameters. The plastic props are relatively cheap.

    I bought a monster

He made it to the bottom! I saw that much of him, if I ever see him again is another story. He shot past at least 3 of my other clown gobies and none of them seemed interested. My main concern is my LMB, but he generally goes after food out in the open water and I doubt the Panda will be doing...

    East coast-West coast

I've never been to TFP, I have ordered some dry goods from them. Everyone I have talked to complained about the health of their livestock. I'll have to check out the other two you mentioned. Thanks
