Ryan A Schaeffer

I'm currently a Biologist II at the California Academy of Sciences where I culture Jellies, breed cuttlefish, lead the care of the Academy's stingray lagoon exhibit, part of the huge Philippine coral reef exhibit team and also in charge of over eight smaller reef themed exhibits. I started off as a hobbyist at age 13 with my first coral tank, I found I could turn my hobby into a career while attending college in Hawaii in 2006.
