My own experience with these pests
After discovering them in my mixed reef tank , I attempted to pull out montis and dip , scrub and put into a frag tank to observe. I watched my colorful montis turn brown and most did not make it . Then I realized there was still some encrusted monti on live...
Only one catch. I need these gone by this Thursday otherwise it goes to the library on Friday
Admins let me know if there is someone whom can keep these as club resources or if not they can be passed on to anyone interested

I am no longer an active reefer , however I was getting ready to take a bunch of books to donate to the local library and it dawned on me that these might benefit the club and fellow reefers

When I moved my latest tank into the same spot the the old tank was at I used a kiddie pool with heater and pumps for circulation (no lights ) and kept them there for about three days . gave me time to take down old set up and install upgraded tank. I probably could have do it in two days but...
Styrofoam coolers are recommended as frags are susceptible to their ambient temperatures while on the tables and the coolers will at least keep those temps from fluctuating too high or too low when frags are in them during transportation coming and going from the swap . Hope this helps...
