I thought my tank was clear of Aiptasia for over 6 months now. But every time I add a frag to the tank some real fat nudis come to inspect and clean the frags. There must be small ones in the crevices keeping the population alive.

they’re actually selling me a new wiring harness for $13. the crazy part is this particular spot has been babied in a service loop on the other side of a wall from the tank. It’s almost never touched. Once the new one gets here I’ll dissect the old one and report back.

It's only 24v and it's not warm or anything. They got back to me and are sending me a new wiring harness for $12, seems pretty reasonable to me.
