9 footer disaster

I get that it will be a complete PITA to drain that tank, but if that salt creep came back after cleaning......

All I have to say is 300-350 gallons of water on your floor is probably a six figure house repair after water mitigation services deal with drying your house, getting rid of humidity and heating the room/house to help prevent mold from taking hold and then the repairs to floors, walls, electrical and replacing furniture. And then you got to deal with insurance.

You pick which concern you'd rather deal with, but I'm in "Camp Drain that MOFO" and find the problem.
I have a 300 gallon Rubbermaid tub you can borrow if you want to save the water. Let me know.

After 4-5 days that i thoght the salt creep is from overflow. Looking at the salt creep pattern, its not near overflow. Du ma, salt creep agai on left side. Hella aggravated
This morning, there is a small puddle nowhere near the overflow. AND the return plumbing is dry. Really WTF!!!

Thanks @MarcosD and @Srt4eric for the wrench

hella pissed. have to drain and reseam everything @JVU PITA

This is my absolute the most disaaterous build ever

Spent the day moving livestock to the 200g (two ap9x, 2 mp40, 2 heater) and rocks to a 55g brute with heater and mag5. Hopefully everything will aurvive for a week.

Sand too dirty, trash. Looking for clean sand.

Found a recently purchased purple tang dead.

Moved three 3 days old lyretail to the 20g. They're still very shy but eating mysis.

Leave the tank to dry overnight. Plan to just add silicone tomorrow

Any merit to vacuum sealing the silicone into the seal area? We did this to impregnate epoxy resin into fiberglass to make the hull for our human powered submarine team. Use a seran wrap like material, putty tape, and a vacuum to pull the air out through a small tube like an ro tube. This applies even pressure across the entire surface to squeeze the silicone into the possible leak area. Then if you wanted, more silicone after on the area in a glob to protect the seal. Thinking out loud here.
