Check out my latest video I made of the Smart auto fish feeder I used while on vacation for 16+ days. Bought if off Amazon for about $75 (https://a.co/d/hITzFUo)

I’d say it takes up about a bit less amount of space as the Plank. Less space if you didn’t have to use the stand and just clamp it on to a rimless tank. Probably would be better mounted on your sump with a tube directing the pellets to the return pump. I like the camera feature the most.

New project. The wrasses need more room to swim so they are getting an upgrade. Aluminum extrusion stand is almost ready! The stand's dimensions are 48x20x36 inches, 30 series, and the light mount is 68x40 inches, 30 series. To add stability, I included extra corner brackets. I came across Wayne Yeng on FB Marketplace in San Jose, who provides custom design services for stands and light mounts at competitive prices compared to AluFab, FramingTech, 80/20net and even TNutz. He uses specialized software to create 3D mockups and assess the stand's weight capacity. He offers various sizes of AE. If you're looking for custom designs, contact him and let him know I referred you for a discount!
Small world. I’ve been buying from Wayne for years. He’s in deep San Jose. But he has a warehouse in Santa Clara now. Ask to meet him there. Lol. Also if you pay with green. He will give you a discount also.

Good to know! Would love to check out his warehouse someday. I’ve always been hesitant building anything from scratch out of AE since there’s so many different nuts, screws, anchors, brackets etc….Ordering online can get expensive due to shipping as well.
Maybe a workshop on how to build aquarium stands or light mount out of aluminum extrusion would be a good idea!?
