I built one myself, super simple, I did have to add blocking in the attic to support the weight, far from perfect but perfect from far!
I used 2040 to mount the lights so they can slide around and the top is mostly open to allow for airflow. I also added a noctua fan because the reefi uno's can get loud when they heat up.

Seriously @jaysway any chance you have pictures of your building process (or a few close-ups from different angles). I actually like the look and wouldn't mind trying to do something similar for my 210. Currently at the figuring out light mounting stage.
I can do that, I'll have a more detailed write up with some pictures in a few days

depending on weight Tap Plastics might be your friend. I am using 1/4' acrylic (heat resistant I forgot the proper name) with a 1x1 extruded aluminum bar. I will post pics in a week or two when I get them made.
