Build a Back Up Power Supply for Cheap

Well I have a lot of back up power supplies. Now I got a bug up my B*tt to build another one but let’s do it on the cheap. Cheap means under 250 dollars and it will run longer than a eco river max.
So you need a battery. I like lithium ion batteries. You can use the whole battery capacity. Where lead acid you can only use 50%. If you go lower than 30%. You damage the lead acid cells.

Something like this one will work or li time, watt hour, do your research pick one you like. 12v 100ah. = 1200 watts of usage. If you want more watts of usage. Then pick a higher ah battery.

What does this mean capacity wise ? 12v , 100ah. That means if I plug in something that uses 100 watts. It will run for 12 hours or 11 hours cuz you loose a little power to the inverter. Until it stops running.

All in one inverter.
I picked this one.600 watts. Cuz all I’m running is my return pumps. They have a 1000watt one too.

Now it’s plug and play. Just connect the two together and plug it into the wall. Plug whatever you want when the power goes out and it will automatically switch over. Then switch back and when the power comes back on. It will recharge the battery.

I’ll have a build pictures in the near future for everyone to follow. For us visual creators.

Here’s a video link if you want to see

Do you have a low voltage protection on the battery cells? A lil solder amd Amazon sells them for a good price, amd also a trickle ballance charger. A couple capacitors to clean up the ac inverter side?

You can add on to the build if you like. Everyone is welcome to add knowledge.
But then aren’t you talking about cutting into the battery case ? I think that would be over a simple project.
