Anyone have any experiences with the bubble magus dosing pump? I was thinking of picking one up.

In the past, I've super glued areas with RTN/STN and it stopped it from progressing (if caught early). I just glued the dead tissue including a portion of the healthy tissue. I've only done it a couple of times and it worked for me. Maybe I just got lucky.

Do you want your stand to have a completely smooth mirror-like finish or do you want to see the wood grain? If you want a smooth finish then you will have to go with MDF boards. My power went out yesterday at around 3 pm and didn't turn back on until this afternoon. Luckily a friend of mine lent me a generator to power up the tank. I think my corals and fish would've been toast if I didn't get my hands on one.

That light rack is constructed out of 80/20 aluminum modular framing. I just ordered two 15 series bars, cut them to size and a buddy of mine machined it clean for me. You can have the bars pre-cut to size and drilled from the company.....not sure how much more this will cost though. Either...

Thanks guys. Ian, a buddy of mine sprayed the white for me at his body shop but I had to do all the prep work which was a real pain in the butt. A ton of bondo work was done to the stand to get the smooth finish. If I had to do it again, I would've just used MDF boards for the outside...

I was fortunate enough to see Bryan's tank this evening. Very impressive setup! You can tell a lot of thought has been put into this build. I love the aquascaping in the tank. Me very likey :bigsmile:. Thanks again Bryan.

I actually like this more but will take your suggestion into consideration.

Couple of quick updates..... Light rack done and fixture hung. I also finished up the foam work to cover up the overflow box. I did a 20 gallon water change on the main system and dumped the water into the new setup. I will run the tank without lights for the next month or so...

I would have to agree with phishphood. Maroons can become very territorial especially if it's hosting in an anemone. If you put your hand anywhere within a foot of the anemone be prepared to get nipped.
