You can check what's failing by putting it horizontally without wet-side and turning on. If it's noisy without wet side - you will need to replace wet-side or change bearings. Otherwise you can oil wet side - I think the new wet side has some petroleum jelly oil.

Sincras are noisy! Without measurements its subjective but I tried 2 sincras and got back to eheim compact instead. I did everything to fight noise - silicon hose, silicon mat, wrap it in the filter pad - doesn’t matter it’s noisy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
