Learning so much with this build. I picked up some acrylic pieces to build the sump. As well as 45 degrees to support the stand a bit more while I take out the front two pieces and slide the sump in. Cutting the weir was kinda fun but kinda not haha.

After 2 weeks of looking for a tank to replace my Red Sea reefer I decided to go on a budget and build a tank from scratch. Went to my local Petco and bought a 75g.

Does anyone know where I can find the rubber mat that goes under the tank? I know IM makes one and they sell it on bulk reef supply but I want to buy it now or by tomorrow and not have to wait until the weekend for it to come by mail.

How does something like this happen? I’m curious, did something go wrong? Could this be avoided? Is it common to happen?

I had mines in the refugium when I picked up from @JVU it was the size of a palm now it’s grown up to the size of a softball it’s getting fluffy. Currently have it in the display tank and can see that my fox and blue tang are nipping at it

I have a stand and sum from the Red Sea already but if I can find a package that would be even better.

I’m looking to buy a new tank probably the same size as my 56g or maybe go bigger by a little bit more. What’s the best way to source tanks im probably not trying to look for something new but if it runs down to that then so be it but I would like to look for something out there first.
