I should be able to help, definitely need some more muscle to move that beast though.

    DBTC: Pink zippers

@Bolicks, pm replied, got one for you. @svreef, got one for you too. It’s a bit of a drive for you, maybe we can meet in Redwood City where I work?

    Need a little help...

I have a very “not reef safe” lemon peel angel in with my soft corals, mushrooms and anemones. Its never even thought about tasting the anemones or mushrooms, but different fish have different tastes. Have you seen any of your fish nipping at things? The levels you listed seem fine, more curious...

    New Deepwater SPS Arriving Tomorrow

Would love to have a directory of scientific names with pics, and maybe examples of "named" corals to associate with them. Some species must be more prone to specific issues than others, and actually knowing what you're trying to grow in your tank would be super useful if something isn't doing...

    Aquarium glass shop?

Yep, mine too, and even lthough purchased second hand, I couldn’t agree more. Do you happen to have his contact info? I can’t find anything for him online...

    Aquarium glass shop?

That’s a great idea Mario. My current tank is one of his, and the one in Mike‘s garage I’d like fixed could have been made by him too. I’ll see if I can find contact info for him

    Aquarium glass shop?

I wish I could have something that size! Can fit at most a 4’ tank in my little SF apartment, so looking for a 120 or 150gal.

    Aquarium glass shop?

Just made an update to this thread, but I don’t see it showing up. Maybe because it was in the old buy-sell forum? Was looking at this tank sitting in Mike‘s garage yesterday, and it would be perfect for what I would like to upgrade to... except it needs the back panel replaced. Does anyone...

    LF: Aiptasia

Just scraped some brown, sting-ey gold from the back of my AIO. I assume you’d like more than this, but if you happen to swing SF, I’m happy to hold off adding a little bleach before dumping these in the toilet.

    Fairy wrasse

As far as I can tell, it’s not a sand sleeper. I also have a melanurus wrasse, and that one definitely is. Happy to get this guy to you Mike.

    Fairy wrasse

I picked this guy up from @tankguy when he was taking his tank down a few months back. He's a great fish - active, eats anything (and a lot of it!), not aggressive, and has caused zero problems in my tank. The only thing is, now that I've had him for a while, I feel like he needs more room, like...

    very sad day

Sorry to hear Erin. I remember watching him cruise in that tank and swim right up to your hand when I visited your place a few years back.

Just wondering how members have been vaccinated?

The wife and I were both in group 1b, got our second doses at Moscone almost 3 weeks ago.

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

The electric stair lift is a great idea, had forgotten about those. I may even have a set of suction cups I bought from someone in the club when I moved my current tank, hopefully I can find them or schedule using the club’s set. So it sounds like this is a hurdle that can be cleared...

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

Exactly! Actually, not so much worried about support. The floors are poured concrete slabs under the hardwood, so I think should be able to hold the 1000-1500lb weight (rough guess).

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

So there's a chance I could be looking to move from my current 75g setup (36"x24"x20") to something 4' wide, either 120g or maybe 150g sometime this summer. The biggest obstacle I see to doing this is I live on the second floor of a loft style building that doesn't have an elevator. It's quite a...

    Free a paired Stripe Damsel

I’m willing to be fish delivery driver if @PeetaJai doesn’t have another reason to head to the east bay. These guys are basically my fault, and he did me a solid by agreeing to take them. Plus I think @ashburn2k may have a coral or 2 for sale I might be interested in... would next weekend...

    Bubble tip 'nem

In my case, have so many on a rock that a new split has to go looking for it’s own place to settle into.

    Bubble tip 'nem

I caught another one walking! It's a little small, maybe 3" open, from the same peach/rose/green group. Pickup at my place in SF/South of Market - priority given to someone who can pick it up soon.
