I've noticed that as my Kalk reservoir gets low, the pH boost lessens, probably due to co2 absorption from the air. I have mine sealed, but still need a small hole to allow some air in to get kalk out :) I wonder if taller reservoirs with less surface area might work better?

Kalk + CO2 scrubber is the only way I've found to keep my pH close to natural sea water (8.3). Anecdotally speaking, my corals seem to be healthier and growing faster.

I guess it wouldn't be super difficult to add recessed braces like in the video. It kinda distracts from the rimless look, but safety should come first.

What is the brand of super glue accelerator you use in the video?

Any ideas on what is causing the seams to fail on these tanks? Are the seams really that fragile? I'm asking because I have a Red Sea Reefer 250, and wouldn't want my animals to go that way...

My water changing setup: 5 gallon bucket Scale to measure 810g of IO reef crystals (mixes to 35 ppt) Wavemaker Heater + Inkbird set to tank temperature I usually let it mix overnight.

I use 2x MP40 on my Red Sea Reefer 250. I run them both on the lowest reef crest setting. I can only keep LPS on the bottom 1/3rd of my 21" tank. I think you'll have too much flow for most LPS on a 13" deep tank. Maybe running 1x MP40 on the back wall would work? Torches seem like they can...

Not sure how much it will help, but Home Depot rents 1/2 HP air dryers for $30/day. If there is any gap between your stand and floor (any leveling feet or rubber standoffs?) you could probably get it completely dry...
