Ultra Coral Submissions for 6/22 Frag Swap

We don't have it on the list yet so I threw it on there for you, and ideally we'll have confirmation today. Given the multiple heads I'm confident we're likely to confirm it as ultra.

Ultra Coral Submissions for 6/22 Frag Swap

The running updated list is on the first page 2nd post. Jawbreaker with 2+ colors is an ultra. Single color is a bonus. We have not voted on 24k gold torches yet. Are you saying each entry would have 2-3 heads?

Coral Identification Contest - Sponsored by Nature Dimensions

Interesting idea. Not sure if those were actual guesses but I’ll give my opinion on what they may be worth for their current sizes. A couple of them may surprise you.. at least one good and one bad. This could help as a hint too 1. $30 2. $250 (It’s splitting into 6ish heads) 3. $300 4. $10...

    On vacation, cool ray pic.

Awesome. I was recently in Kona swimming with Manta Rays (different type of ray); one of the best experiences I could have imagined.

    Q2 '25 Budget Builds

I vote to let NanoCrazed in because I missed by 1 day too, sooo… ;) To be honest, I’m not sure every tank needs a monthly update. If people aren't updating their journals then they aren’t going to get votes, but at the same time we can easily have a month go by without anything new or exciting...

    Invictus’ ‘25 Budget Build

They’re mostly utilitarian. Meant for aquaculture convenience useful for taking the coral out fragging/cleaning/ etc. Right now I’m not 100% settled on my rockscape, and if things continue to go well with SPS I will want these premium high light spots to go to nicer Acros. So, this prevents a...

    Invictus’ ‘25 Budget Build

Happy to report that I’ve beaten the Dinos and Cyano! The tank is looking clean and chugging along nicely. Continuing with my plans to target a SPS dominant system, I added an additional gyre to increase flow, which I got at a good price from Eric. I added a good amount of test SPS frags...

    Only coral tank

Correct. You’re describing the moonshiner method, more or less. Look into it if you haven’t. It will require semi-regular icp tests.

    Only coral tank

Lack of steady and consistent nutrients is the main drawback of not having fish. Corals like to eat fish poop. Generally, you’ll need to dose nitrates and phosphates. Otherwise it shouldn’t be an issue.
