    DBTC: PFE euph

Definitely looks like a frogspawn from this picture.

    DBTC: PFE euph

Didn't pay enough attention to the tips. Maybe a frogspawn/frammer. Would have to see in person.

    What's this?

Are the tenticles purple? If so then I've seen it go by "highlighter torch" or "joker torch". If the tenticles are just dark green then just "green torch" and I haven't seen them given a name. Edit: may be a frogspawn/frammer. Shot a quick reply out while I was at work not paying close enough...

Think I got some monti eating nudibranchs!

My 2 options if I were in this situation and wanted to have nice montis as an end goal for the tank would be as follows (the 2nd is more work for not much more reward) 1. Toss all the montis and wait 6 months before getting any montis. 2. Take out all montis from tank and place in QT tank...

VarioS return pump connected to Hydros controller (and where to buy Hydros accessories around here)?

Once the Maven finally comes out and can proves it's accurate and reliable I'm sure a lot more users will switch to Hydros.

Help is needed moving a tank

Did someone say beer? I'll be there to watch and for emotional support. (And partake in said beer)

Help is needed moving a tank

Glad it looks like you got the volunteers needed for this. I'd be there but my back is messed up from a recent car accident. If you get enough people to do the work for ya be sure to take plenty of pics so we can have some newer club content!

    Dealing with hair algae

Do your research before going with an emerald crab. They are reef safe with caution as they've been known to sometimes go after coral.

I Wanna Sex You Up Mycedium

Anyone still have this? Would love to continue growing it and get it back out to the club!

    65 gallon tank

Being that there are hammers and nems in the tank means there should be alk consumption and that you should monitor daily to figure out your alk consumption and then set to dose back daily what is used to keep it stable.

Reefing art plugs are a different beast

Yes the reefing art plugs can only be cut with a band saw or a dremel. I hate those things.

What pH tester are you using? I'm wondering because 8.6 and 8.55 are very high readings that majority of advanced SPS keepers strive to hit and only very few actually do. Questioning the accuracy of your tester is my main point.

    65 gallon tank

What is the pH of your other tank? I saw this tank tested low at 7.8. You'll commonly hear people say don't go chasing pH. I personally feel that pH is one of the most important factors in our reef tanks, it just has to be "chased" in the right way. No using any "magic in a bottle" products that...

You'll want Hanna HR Nitrate if you get a Nitrate tester. The low range is not useful for us and is a pain to do all the steps in the test kit properly.

    Rock flower nem ID please?

Rockflower nems don't get "street names" they're just rock flower nems. If he bought it named then the vendor just made it up most likely.

    Suggestions on buying coral online

Also try not to order for shipping during the winter months. Delays are very common due to all the Holiday packages and the extreme cold weather in parts of the U.S doesn't help.

    DBTC: Dove Snails

"Dove Snails Pictocollumbella ocellata are more commonly referred to as Lightning Dove snails. They are popular among marine enthusiasts because they consume different types of algae: film, diatoms, hair, algal detritus and even some types of cyanobacteria. Preferring to spend their time on hard...

    DBTC: Dove Snails

These are amazing additions to anyone's clean up crew! Their smaller size allows them to get into place your bigger snails can't. And I can confirm that they do easily reproduce. I've got tons in all of my tanks and always see what I believe to be their eggs. Needless to say I haven't scraped...
