4 fish feels like a lot to me in a small tank. I thought most people recommend 1-2 for nanos.

Trying to get the parameters more in line with what I'm used to. Also trying to lower the impact of the ugly phase. Aiming for 5 nitrate and .05-.08 phosphate. Whenever the skimmer comes in, I'm hoping to reduce the water changes to weekly.

Alk consumption is really stable so far. Dosing 3ml All for Reef keeps the tank at ~9dkh. Doing a 10% water change daily. Nitrates are at 9 today, and phosphate at .23.

That's a good amount of usage! Try keeping the alk swings to less than 1 a day. I've had bad experiences when I've done more.

I like the frozen food thing for the most part. Sometimes the food doesn't go all the way out, so I just pull the magnet down and it floats away. I'd recommend it.

Thanks everyone for their support and advice on this journal. All the livestock and tank found new owners. Maybe in the next few years, I'll be able to startup my dream peninsula tank. In the meantime, I started a 14g tank that's about a week old. Should be more fun times.

After the tank downgrade, I don't have any of these left. These now live on with @Purgo25 and @BleepBloopMunchMunch.

I’d definitely suggest 2 part or some kind of automated dosing. You have a ton of corals in the tank so alk and calcium consumption will be through the roof. Tank looks great!
