Found this wonderful place when I put my 220 gal saltwater system up for sale. Wish I'd discovered this place years ago!! Starting a much smaller freshwater tank so I just started a build thread. Hopiing more freshwater folk get active!! Now to learn my way around here...

I don't as it has been far too many years since my last freshwater tank but I just sold my 220 saltwater set up and am returning to freshwater and a much smaller tank.

I have to tell you, my husband was like someone came all that way for a bunch of snails lol's. Obviously a non fish guy haha

Huge thanks to @mac96 for rescuing my snails. Some people would scoff and just toss t hem, but they are all 2-3 years old I think and the conch was one of my favs. So thanks again. Huge relief.

if any one is in tracy, I have 5 snails and a conch needing a fast desperate home. I've got them in a small container with an airstone and changing water every day. they were left behind.

2 lbs for a 220 tank? Google said 1 cup per gal lol's. That was my thought with leaving equip. running. And if I let it sit a week, my entire house will prob. stink. (worse than now with a dirty empty tank lol's)
