Dream Tank 2 72g Freshwater Planted Tank

Edit: replaced pics of stand/tank from amazon to actual! My first fish tank as a child had sword tails that breed. I had a lot of swords and mollies back then. Since, I've had a 50g that got busted and then a 100 gal. Went to saltwater in 2016: 60 gal AIO to a 125 and then a 220 monster tank. I...

For those with reefs now ... any pictures from an old freshwater tank?

I don't as it has been far too many years since my last freshwater tank but I just sold my 220 saltwater set up and am returning to freshwater and a much smaller tank.

question on running citric acid in empty tank

2 lbs for a 220 tank? Google said 1 cup per gal lol's. That was my thought with leaving equip. running. And if I let it sit a week, my entire house will prob. stink. (worse than now with a dirty empty tank lol's)

question on running citric acid in empty tank

I've torn down my 220 and it needs cleaning. I'm planning to run citric acid in regular water (about 22 lbs citric acid) and use my cor 20's to circulate and a couple powerheads. Is it allright to run more than a week, run it while I'm gone (or shut pumps off and let it sit) as I have a trip to...

    Sad to leave this hobby

Well, as I stated above, I've been trying to decide what to do with my tank. I've had to make that difficult decision to let my tank go. In addition to my own issues (hands and hips), and a full time job (used to be part time), I am now having to do long distance care for my 91 year old dad in...

thanks. I have the flipper edge plus a bunch of other scrappers of varies size handles. So far, the fish load should be good. I'm no where near my capacity I don't believe. I do need more snails and CUC though. The floss I put in 2-3 weeks ago is still white. And none to little nitrates. Even...

Yes, that is an option. There is a lot of "fragging" available! And I absolutely know I will take a loss. thanks. If I fine a maintenance co for twice a month, I mig ht see if I can hang in there for a bit longer.

It is a plate coral. The coral actually died or almost died and then it started coming back, and it actually looks a lot better than ever. It amazes me. I have a lobo that I've never seen the feeders out and I see them out all the time now. Several of my corals were almost lost and have come...
