Here my two old ones, about a year apart. Will be running another one to see what this year has brought. The first one was Oct '23, > Nov '24. First test was right after i did a complete reboot of my tank, new rock and sand; only a few holdover LPS and a few SPS (mainly montis, plus an Oregon...

I do not rely on ICP for dosing. I test ALK and CA weekly - so I rely on my tests. The ICP is for looking at things i cannot test for/or test easily; and to build trend lines for those things in the good days - so if there are bad days somethign to compare too. I ran the comparison as i have...

Yes, i mainly looked at the website, was just much easier to post both PDFs here versus a bunch of screen shots. It doesn't change the analysis though.. I know my CA was low at the time of the sample and that did not register on the Triton results.... that is what i am struggling with.

I received my ATI results 6 days after my Triton results; which with my experience with ATI is the typical response time. Some of the analysis results did differ from Triton. For example Calcium, Triton: 440mg/l vs ATI: 378 mg/l. Given i also tested my Calcium as a pulled the samples and got a...

How difficult is planted compared to reef

Have a couple tiny low tech tanks, majority of the maintenance is harvesting the floaters weekly and sending to compost (all of 15min tops). Used to have a hi-tech tank, was alot of plant trimming to keep things under control; manually dosing of ferts. Used to hunt for plants similar to the hunt...

Hawaii (Insider) Travel Recommendations (for Reefers)

I'm a fan of the Big Island. Coffee, chocolate, active volcano; but Kauai is my favorite. ATV riding, Hiking/waterfalls, scuba/snorkeling. Maui (which could use the tourism) is also quite nice - stay Wailea or Kihei. Go coffee, and/or vodka/rum tasting. take the 'road to Hana' stop for some zip...

Should Michael run a closed loop on his 210 gallon?

the key to Jebao's >> never clean them! then they will work forever. J/K -partly. each time i cleaned one, never worked the same again. I have a pair Sicce's on my new tank, my first DC pumps from them; both have worked very well and the app is easy and i can access from anywhere. While i don't...

    Another thread on solar

I really don't see a strong reason to go with string. I guess if you live in AZ or lower NV where the sun is everywhere. I have inverters and battery didn't add much cost to my system.

    Should I move this goni?

Yeah, they definitely do not all get along. If easy to move; i'd say move it and see how it responds.
