In your tank journal it looks like your tank is right against a window. How much natural light is your tank getting. My tank gets just a little sun light, and thats where I get the algea. You might want to think about putting a black backing on the tank. Also let me know if you want some GFO...

2 part, should really be called 3 part (Calc, Alk, and Mag). Its the same as B-Ionic but a lot cheaper, and you feel cooler becuase you made it.
