That's good! When people start a hypo-salinity treatment, do they begin it with a freshwater dip? I know Bob used to do 15 minute freshwater dips on tangs. What does a 15 minute dip do to ich compared to 8 week hypo compared to FW dip + 8 week hypo.

Love the black substrate. Makes colors pop and, since the eye is lazy and gravitates towards white, the dark background makes eyes focus on corals. Very cool.

FWIW, I lost power last week for 36 hours. By the time I got power again the temp was down to about 66 degrees (from 80). I turned pumps back on, lights back on, and the temps warmed up. Everything was very sluggish (cold blooded and whatnot), but all survived. So as far as temp goes, don't...
