Hi BAR!
We have moved out of the house we were renting and are looking for a new tenant(s) to sign a new lease with the property management company!
Here's the ad for all the nitty gritty! http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/apa/5320332403.html
the stand is pretty much level (bubble near center in all directions) i just need to make sure the stand is sitting 100% flush with the floor so that i don't introduce any twisting into the flat stand and onward into the glass
Anyone have any suggestions for leveling my aquarium stand on hardwood floors?
The stand has just a barely noticeable diagonal (corner to corner) wobble. The amount of space isn't enough to slide a shim under there, but the stand needs to be on level ground as to not twist the aquarium bottom...
I'm looking for a pump i can use to move either salt or RO water from my laundry room, up one level to the room above to the tank. Looking for suggestions on reliable pumps, doesn't have to move high volume (not for sump to tank flow).
Haha, yea my timelines got thrown out of the window, but we'll be taking this slow. I hope to start filling it this coming weekend, and we will only start stocking it a few weeks after that.
Yea, its the 36 inch tideline.
Update: near final stand placement. Also have an electrician coming on Friday to install two sets of outlets, each one on a separate breaker. Conveniently one of the electrical panels is in the same room, on the same wall.
Its been a while since Ive been really excited about my tanks but i think its coming back. Between the house hunting and generally being busy i missed some parameters and had a major crash resulting in an almost complete loss of SPS. A tad disappointing to say the least, but on the bright...
Looking to borrow 3 ~40g or 2 50g brute trash cans for a few weeks. I will be setting up my 120g tank in the next few weeks and just incase i need to drain urgently for whatever reason, some large water holding tanks would be lovely so i dont have to waste RO during this drought.
I am located...
Quick pick of the move. Had to take it up to the front door which is above be garage up some rather steep deck stairs. Took a breather on the landing halfway up to rest.
Finally after much silence....a teaser.
solid blocking, 6x6 beams and 3 6x6 columns, per structural engineer's recommendation.
To the left, in that little closet like space, there is one more beam/post
