They swarm at night. I have a bunch I can put on DBTC myself

I mix three pellets - algae from nyos, tdo (small) and now pe mysis- they all come out at different rates which is actually good. Some sink fast and some slow… but I have found that mixing pellets with their food or other types of food does not do well.

Mine never was accurate - gave up on it and got a tropic Marin hydrometer. Check the water 2x a week in seconds. No calibration needed

Ok next question - For a 36 inch long tank how long of a strip do I want-options to be 24 (seems too short), 30, Or 36. Still sorting through the options

I have used it -it works but brings down nitrate a lot more than phosphate though at least for me. I ended up using a different product. Def go slow though!

Thank you. Will give it a try once I get it back up. I had shut it down right before I left for vacation given some issues. Question to you and others doing this -plan to do alk once a day and combined 1x a day. Have you seen any issues with stringing out reagent?

For the purposes of data collection for the study -the IM10, IM14, and the aqueon 5g would be excluded. Possibly the 9 footer depending on gallon size.

No-it’s a collection of failures specifically relating to Red Sea. I am trying to assess actual probability of greater failure (or not) of Red Sea to other manufacturers But in order to assess that -I need a lot of input on other tanks as well.

Like the the polls says -only interested in tanks from 2015 on. It’s the first step. Having 10+ tanks though in last 10 yrs is impressive
