    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

July update: added 6 fish from @under_water_ninja 3x Nemanthias carberryi 2x Paracheilinus carpenteri 1x Cirrhilabrus cyanogularis The first 5 seem to enjoy hanging out together. The anthias are like golden retrievers in how they're constantly hoovering up any food they see and have...

Lightning Change Acclimation - How Long?

I've had to from other tanks with acropora and some LPS species. The number that I've bleached even at lower measured PAR is pretty high. My guess is it's from the heavy amount of violet and UVA from our lights vs. others.

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

Yep mine used drones to map it due to how steep mine is.

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

Pretty sure it's 18 for the edges. The 36 was for a path to the ridge so firefighters can reach the top safely, but you can confirm with them.

Sodium Hydroxide(NaOH) for Alk & pH

I still have some from my nano that I bought in 2005, that's how long it takes to use up from the big 50lb bags lol. Plus there's always 2 part materials being given away at swaps or here.

    Sunrun/PGE Solar Panels

Yeah they're full of it, they just didn't want to deal with a non-simple install. The setback requirements are 18 inches from edges and looking at sunroof plus Google Earth, despite your roof having lots of eaves, you can mount horizontally on a lot of the surfaces and still avoid vents on the...

    The Mangrove Jungle

Sorry to hear about the seahorses. Seems like flatworm exit really isn't safe at all unless you're bombing a tank that's fish free. The filefish are my holy grail fish. What have you got them eating so far?

    Blue Damselfish

We're pretty sure it's a Chrysiptera cyanea. Photo from Ayman's tank.

Fighting conchs are pretty safe, but they definitely get bigger. Up to you!

Should Michael run a closed loop on his 210 gallon?

Speaking of leaning, what's underneath your floor again? I'm still worried about you leveling things out there with the tank since those boards are floating and looked to be drooping by the wall with just the empty tank and stand on dollies. If there's concrete slab under the subfloor then it's...

    Patrick's 81G - the last dance

That looks more like a Stramontina sp. and they're generally predatory. Good for keeping vermetids in check though in my experience! I'd stick to tiger conchs as they're very reef safe.
