Its actually in Aiea, haha. I grew up right up the street in New Town. Its been there ever since I can remember, I went to elementary school right across the street.
Logically this does sound true, but this is not what I was saying. What I meant was when you have higher nutrients your coral can handle higher light. With lower nutrients your coral will get bleached with too high of light.

Mine looks the same minus the fancy pvc pipes. One suggestion is mark from the top of your RODI container to where 40 gallons of water is. Pump out 40 gallons of water and dump a whole back of IO or RC into the salt mixing tank. You won't even have to check salinity.
I have given up on it, tried it twice. Both times RTN, once after just a few days. Second time after a couple months. I had success in the past with both Eddie's and Tyree's.
Curious, how much do you think it will cost to rebuild? From my understanding the way these control bubble count is by opening and closing the solenoid which isn't quite as good as a good needle valve.
