Coral IDs for the upcoming swap

It could be still, my vivid does not really have yellow polyps in my tank but it does in other tanks. However if we do not know what it is we should not guess.

Lets see your TV arm mount to light rail

With that I'd imagine it would be hard to get the light pointed horizontal and hold really any weight at all.

    Calcium Reactors

I cannot stress this enough but I have run a CaRx for years. Try to time it with your lighting cycle. Your tank will not consume alk when the light are out. The pH also drops when the lights are out because your coral do not consume CO2 during this time.

    Calcium Reactors

I have never soaked my media before adding to my reactor.

This is mine running a CaRx. It's only on during the photoperiod.

    Flat worm id?

They deffinetly do. Feed less for now, or do more water changes.

    Flat worm id?

Feeding does contribute, it increases nutrients in the water.

    Calcium Reactors

I've done both calcium reactors and 2/3 part. Once dialed in a calcium reactor is much easier to operate.

    Calcium Reactors

You can tune them much finer in regards to bubble rate. I don't run a pH probe because of this.

    Calcium Reactors

I just don't run my CaRx when my lights are off. This way it affect the pH less. Typically your corals are not consuming the Ca or Alk when the lights are off.

    Trident reagent usage question.

So, the way I have mine controlled, the CaRx peristaltic pump and CO2 are only allowed to be on during the lighting period. But my apex will turn off both if the dkH is over 8.

    Calcium Reactors

I actually have these parker metering valves that are much better than the swagelok. I don't think that is what I gave Boun though. hahaha

    Trident reagent usage question.

I've been doing it like this for a few years now. If my numbers ever look very off I switch to manual until I can fix it.

    Calcium Reactors

For regulators, a good dual stage is a better choice. I think I have a bunch of parts still if you need any to build one.
