Do u have a tap in line for drinking water before the di resin ? I recall reading rodi water isn't good for us humans to drink. I think specific the di resin removes something we should have in our water. @ReyDeFarts would know this I'm sure based on his job.

Shouldn't be a problem just never use that rock again for a display. Maybe keep it as a permanent qt rock. Even dried out etc little chance of ever making it reef safe again
