Thanks. Beginning to wonder if it is the Apex itself as I couldn’t calibrate the last Neptune probe either.. But I will see if I can calibrate against a different apex and see if that works. If so, I’ll have some answers

That’s why I was looking for a cheaper alternative! I just can’t tell if Neptune did an update to make 3rd party probes not useable, my recent one is a dud although it registers just fine in 7.0 solution (can’t calibrate), stray voltage in tank, or the something wrong with apex itself

Ah..the neptune one. Others have used less expensive probes with success. I cannot -and seeing if anyone is having success of late With non Neptune ph probes

Very generous @Finnaddict -I specifically look for your frags at the swap meets. I'd grab everything I could but I need to reset a few things due to the pellet dump last week before I bring in anything new.

Trident in need of frequent calibration

Curious - I had attempted to test this by reconfiguring the time to the below time but it does not seem to trigger at that time. Goal is to test 2x a day at when lights about to go on and at 8 pm. TIA

Ended up unloading all the pellets in avast into tank now what

Siphoned what I could. blew a lot of it into the overflow where the rollermat would Capture it as well. So a ton were captured -but I think def some left that I couldn’t get.. Water change is only to offset potential ammonia & nutrient spikes.,

Ended up unloading all the pellets in avast into tank now what

No. I got as much as possible but there is still a lot in the sand I couldn’t get. By the time I realized what I had done -I had started other mitigation steps as it was already past 4-5 hrs - namely getting up on water changes. Now see if water changes (12-15 g) a day, a rollermat, and some...
