Lots of snails spawning and tons of baby snails growing can lower ca appreciably, but I wouldn’t say crash

The skeleton seems to have more texture to it if that makes sense. Maybe I just haven’t noticed, but the spongodes im used to seems more smooth skeleton

Looks like what I have seen called montipora spongodes. The fact I’ve seen a coral that looks like that called something more than once means very little in reality tho lol

Pretty easy. Basically just poke a hole and stick the hose in. Theres a fitting you can use for it

I don’t agree with several of your assumptions. No time right now. I think it is likely parasites of some sort. They tend to come and go. Those two fish are certainly mist susceptible. Weren’t they in a system with disease/parasites previously?

I failed to get automated feeding to work and the seahorses were a struggle and not a success. I suggested taking down the tank or turning it into an African chichlid tank. Instead, a parent of one of the students is going to do…something with it. I offered help and advice, I wasn’t taken up...

This has reached the end of the line under my care. The school has decided they want a teacher to take over the tank. They have no reefing experience, but watched me clean it twice. Good luck to the animals. These clowns came from former president david @lattehiatus in 2012 I believe. Still...

I always associated flukes with gills and eyes. Are there multiple types?
