I have changed my testing schedule -so that it only does alk 2x a day and ca/mg 1x a day. So I calibrate every two months. If you order directly from them it’s fairly cheap. But you should calibrate against the solution as the optical curvette gets dirty over time so the solution helps...

Why do you not like the hydrometer? Love that thing. It’s relatively inexpensive and no calibration needed (as long as you test at proper water temp).
