Interesting. I use all for reef -which is calcium carbonate. I only really see them spawn when I kick up a lot of stuff from the sandbed.. but I know they still are living as corals wil grow around their shells and leave the opening.

Why does coral snow do to them? My tank is loaded with them. I kill the ones I can..

All the corals were doing well -until I made that dumb error with the auto feeder.

I use a very diluted dose (40:1) and dose into the protein skimmer -so far no ill effects to fish or corals - not to say it can’t happen in the future.. I do need to run another ICP to verify it’s not all over the place.

Long story short I wanted to say thanks to @HankDean V for rescaping my tank. I have a couple pics before/after (labeled) but the pics do not do it justice. Just a lot more real estate for SPS/acros plus a lot more caves for the fish to hang out. Time to start adding in corals again!
