Decided to do a deep clean of the Nyos Quantum 160 skimmer on the main tank. It’s a good thing I did. Noticed some discoloration on the magnet and some on the inner wall. When I was cleaning the inner wall I could fill some type of possible crack or nick. I’m guessing I should order a new pump?

I’m still using AI Vegas on the garage tank and AI Hydra 52s non HD on the main tank.

Had a great meat up with @ofzakaria Neptune Aquatics. Got his 3 SPS (Green/Pink tri color wild acro, Green/Yellow Indo, Vivid Confetti). Also got 3 $10 SPS and 2 FireFish and a Lubbocks Fairy Wrasse. I was wanting to get a Male/Female but they only had male wrasses.

I did buy a new power supply. It won’t arrive until the 8th-10th. Did some more looking of the failed power supply. The plastic cover on the capacitor came off. The butt end of the capacitor did bulge. Also the board seems discolored. Does some of the shouldering seem like shoddy work?

There was a smell but don’t know if that was just the melting plastic. The capacitor seems to be bulging in the middle.
