ugggggg.......... Skimmer is on back order at aqua cave, and most other sites. Looks like I'll need to wait 3 weeks to get it. Crappola! Wish Reef Octopus could get their manufacturing supply lines in order! They are out of the main body cylinder and are waiting for a slow boat from China.

Ok after several replys, on multiple site, here, reef central. I decided on the Super Reef Octopus 3000INT. It's rated for 300 gallons and it's price was easier on the budget. The skimmer should come in on Thursday or Friday next week. :)

Here's the crushed shell I picked up at Boca Grande. I rinsed it out with freshwater, the added alittle bleach let it soak for a day, then rinse again and dry out. Here's some updated picts. And before you guys say something :) The guys are coming back to adjust the doors so I have no light leaks. The sump is due into my LFS tomorrow. Then plumbing... and maybe an extra structural support under the floor.. running load calculations again as a precaution.

Well the tank stand is finished, minus a good coat of white paint! The inside of the stand was sealed with shower hardy board, shower caulk and a coat of white silicone based paint. So it's build to take water without damaging the surrounding walls and house structure. More picts to come.. but...
