I haven't done it, but I don't believe collecting the fry after they've hatched will disturb the parents. It's the fact that many/most? breeders remove the substrate with the eggs attached to them that can disturb new parents and put them off the spawn.

Well, tank mates are as I said before, and shouldn't be a problem. As for feeding and water quality that won't be a problem. The only thing I can think of is hiding spaces. I don't have a ton of rock in the tank, and the wrasse and firefish like their crevices as well. Pic is attached. So...

Hah, sorry if you read it wrong guys. I have no intention of taking the LPS off the acrylic, simply as using as a grow-out platter. Once grown out and both coral/acrylic cut, I plan to just sand/cut away majority of acrylic & epoxy or glue on to some rubble for trade/sell/give whathaveyou
