I brought mine to Philippines last 2 weeks ago. It was inside the tripod bag, but they didn't allow me to hand carry the tripod even when it was inside the tripod bag. They didn't allow foldable umbrella to be hand carried too.

If cyno can multiply in my tank exponentially, other beneficial bateria that are already in my tank should too. Unfortunately, in my case cyno won.

I'm using 1000ml of biopellet from vertex and another 1000ml of ecobak from warner marine all mixed in the same reactor. The reactor output is directly in the skimmer sump. I just shutdown the reactor last night. I might need to scrub the rocks this weekend.

Very likely in my opinion. Other people who used vodka had problem with cyno. It's a carbon source just like biopellet.

I replaced the bottom sponge with a DIY plastic with smaller holes.
