Sergio, thanks for the frag (this frag was huge!). I've posted the transaction on the tracking thread. Hope to post a picture of the frag in my DT soon.

    Lime green cap

Hi George, if you don't have any others interested, I'd like a frag. This is one cap I don't have yet.

    DBTCX reverse watermelon mycedium

I can't say for sure, but I think that is how Ed scored his as well: a brown out discount at Your Reef. It has turned into a great piece and is about 5" in diameter. John at Your Reef has been pestering him for a frag of it...

Hi Sergio, I'd love a frag of this. If pickup at the Frag Swap is acceptable, I'll join in the fun. I pick #1. Thanks!

    DBTCX reverse watermelon mycedium

Nice, Sam. I first looked at the pictures before reading your post and thought to myself, 'Damn, that looks exactly like Ed's piece'. LOL. Great chain to start!

    joker paly

I just picked up a nice size frag of Joker Palys and love them. They are my new favorite paly ATM. Great contrast between the deep purple and bright green. You'll love them, Roc.

    Flooded drain, Stockman or Durso?

This sounds exactly like the design linked above by bean animal (minus the third failsafe). I just constructed this same design today and hope to water test it tomorrow. Very easy to make, take a look at the first page of the linked thread above. It has a very good breakdown of the fittings...

    AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I hate Procrastinators

I did my part by signing up at the last minute. Well what I thought was the last minute...I thought Sunday was the last day to sign up for $10 and did it at about 9pm. You are welcome. :) At least I plan on showing up to the meeting as early as possible. Keep up the great work, Bryan!

    Mean Green Zoos

George, I'm new to BAR and DBTC, but would love to get a frag from you of this chain. I'll be at the swap if you are willing to hook me up and bring it to the swap for me. (I know I'm supposed to meet you on your terms, but noticed you will be at the swap.) Thanks!

Interesting post from Walt about Tonga

Yes, I think you are correct. It would be nice to hear the actual truth about Tonga, but its very unlikely that will happen. All I'm interested in knowing is which AquaCulture operation I should or should not be supporting. We vote with our $$, so would be nice to know.

Since we have Walt's comment on here, isn't it only fair to put the other side? If mods disagree, please remove.

    Frag Swap versus DBTC

Thank you all that have replied. I really enjoy the maturity of the users of this forum. Everyone has made excellent points and I tend to agree with you all. I think the greatest value in a Frag Swap is its far-reaching impact on regular hobbyists that may not be active members of a club. As...

WOW is all i have to say

I want to know who got this one: I was hoping to buy this with a few other people, but its already gone. If a BAR member nabbed this, please PM me. I'd really like a piece. Thanks.

    Frag Swap versus DBTC

The DBTC program is new to me and I'm still learning the dynamics of the program. But it seems to me that hosting a Frag Swap would diminish the benefits of a DBTC program, and perhaps even rob the program of potential chains. I'm just curious if such a discussion has taken place amongst the...

Interesting post from Walt about Tonga

Thanks for the link. A very interesting read! There certainly seems to be a lot of the story untold, but if what Walt is saying is true, I'm quite impressed with his efforts. Isn't his company insulated from this change since they already have AC in full production? It seems he is trying to help...

You guys are so lucky getting first dibs on his shipments. I wish I was close enough to just stop by like that. When will he have the new stuff posted up?

How do you recycle old sand?

Good suggestion, Tony. I'll have to try that out. I have a 30 gallon Brute trashcan full of old sand from a tank breakdown that needs to be cleaned. I built a makeshift sifter out of 4 2x4 that I used to create a frame and some aluminum screen stapled over it. Now I just put a scoop of the...
