well, on trips ive made for research ive found it often. thats typical ocean. our ph in our beach is mid 7's and very low alk. so that is just the average, not the typical reef setup. find the average in reef zones, and you will see it is much different than "typical surface ocean value"...

i never dose anything directly into my tank. i always mix it up and slowly add it, or will add it into my overflow so i has time to circulate through the UV, protein skimmer and sump before dispersing into the tank. we`ve all made dumb mistakes, fortunately you didnt lose much and you didnt...

i keep mine at about 14 or 15 dKh. and my corals havent looked better. in ocean reefs it is typically 14-19dKh.

is there such a thing as overskimming? worst case you will just have to re-supplement what you take out. best case is u remove all the crap from the water and only have to add supplements back.

u didnt shake it before use did u? and your suppose to mix it in water before you use it. i use it and only had an issue when i dosed directly into the tank and i didnt shake it up. i then used the same bottle after i shook it an dissolved the dose and no issues. water change and stop the...
