I am using Ocean Nutrition Formula 1 pellets. I have heard that they like the smell of these ones better. There is a lot of good info on the MOFIB website. Mine only eats pellets if I feed Arcti-pods at the same time. Don't know why, maybe because they are the same color.

I recently trained a mandarin to eat prepared foods. I put him in a fish breeder and started with baby brine shrimp, then mixed in frozen brine. Now he eats Mysis, Arctipods, and pellets. The whole process wasn't too hard and mine started to eat frozen brine within two weeks.

Hey Durwin, I have the pumps up and running. So far, I really like them. I scheduled them to dose at night to even out my PH swing. I looked at the Aqua Medic pumps but heard mixed reviews on them. I will give you updates as time goes on.

Hey Gomer, Do you use rigid Airline tubing to go into the jugs? My LFS doesn't carry any. Where did you get yours?

I usually turn off the pump only when I feed my lps. I have been frozen brine and mysis as well as arcti-pods, and really the only reason I have been turning off the pump is to feed this chalice that I have. The feeding tentacles seem to only come out after the food has sat on top of the coral...

Hey guys, I had my return pump (Mag 5) break on me a few months back. The impeller broke, so I went to the LFS and they told me it is bad to turn off my return while feeding b/c it is hard on the pump. Is this true? I sent the pump back to Danner, since it broke a new impeller upon...
