    ThePhoReefer’s IM25 Lagoon 2.0

Might not see much of a pH bump at night Danh with AFR dosing since it's actually going to drop things a bit as the bacteria metabolize it. Have you tried using a CO2 meter in the restaurant? I figure it might get high when you're cooking and there's lots of patrons.

Vermetid snail quarantine. How long before they stop spawning?

I've found hemostats work well for crushing them. Haven't seen them take hold in my main tank. Not sure if that's the copperband or the urchins keeping them in control.

    Post your hitchhiker pics here!

Looks like a spaghetti worm, beneficial.

Vermetid snail quarantine. How long before they stop spawning?

All for reef is calcium formate plus trace elements.

    Willie’s Last Aquarium Build

The home cryptocaryon/velvet kit isn't out yet but it might be worth doing a qPCR test: https://www.dxaquaria.com/shop/

    DBTC: Orange or Rainbow Yuma

@Real JT be sure to request in BARcode using the link on the first post in this thread. Also feel free to introduce yourself in the welcome forum and put together a tank journal (usually required for DBTC corals).

IM SR60 - back after a long hiatus

Stopped by @rxx2rxx2 's to pick up phyto yesterday. Really great looking SPS in a pretty young tank! Tons of water flow too which must be helping out. Love the leopard wrasse.

I always remember the owner at aquatic gallery in suits all the time like Than at Tidal Gardens. I wouldn't dream of getting skimmate on my dress shoes!

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

Channeling Jake Adams here: there's no such thing as a yellow coris wrasse. There's the yellow wrasse AKA Halichoeres chrysus: and the yellow and purple wrasse Halichoeres leucoxanthus: The main difference is the white belly and the fact they live in the Indian Ocean. Both pictures are...

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

FWIW there's tons of different flatworm species so biological control might only work for some. I didn't have any luck against either the noxious red planaria type (that doesn't go into corals) and euphyllia specific flatworms with these fish: Spotted mandarin Yellow wrasse Pink streak wrasse...

    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

Yeah 3xMP40. Flow has been restricted since I've been breaking in new wet sides, but they run on the wave engine during the day in a gyre up to 55% currently, but will scale up to 75% once fully broken in. They also got pretty clogged up until I cleaned them last night so I'll see if that helps...

    New to salt water

Welcome to the club! @Slingfox gave you great guidance you come over here and @robert4025 has an incredible store to get your gear and animals from. You can't go wrong there. If you don't have an RODI system yet, they have both fresh and salt water you can fill up jugs with I'm the meantime...

    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

Started ammonium bicarb dosing after seeing this snotty algae growing (didn't act like dinos, but couldn't confirm under a scope.) photo from Aug 10th: They didn't disappear at night or break loose easily (more like a gelatin consistency). Hard to vacuum too since it gelled up the sand. At...

1 TDS out of my 8 stage rodi

Maybe wiggle/reposition/clean the sensors too. I've seen them fluctuate especially if they're not angled perpendicular to flow. Although they do look right from what I can see for the last two.

Elephant slugs (I think) and are PIF

Have you noticed what their preferred diet is in your tank? Found this site with info but nothing recent much. https://www.seaslugforum.net/find/scutus
