A few pics from the Jelly exhibit...

I was able to spend most of the day this last Friday at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I took a few pics as it was convienent and thought I'd post a few here. The Displays were very nice throughout and I was very impressed by the Jellyfish and seahorses exhibits. Some Pics for you to enjoy...

The ones I have are about 3" right now.... most will split after reaching 5"-7" IME. You're welcome to try one... if it gets too big you can always frag it.

I had something simlar happen to me once. I did my 10% water changes over the next couple weeks with a higher salinity to level it out.

I like the idea of having more here than just fish stores... If you're a DIY'fer there are many resources you need access to when building a tank before you get to the LFS's IMO. Maybe to keep the list from becoming too long we can have the existing one specify LFS's and a new link for Local...

My tank runs a regular pH range of 8.15 to 8.35 these days but I've kept tanks in the past with pH in the 7.9ish on the low side to 8.2ish on the high side range that did great for years. If my pinpoint monitors were reading right.. which I think they were most of the time.... 7.9 pH on the...

I think most of the plastic rings are made about the same... I'd look at what it is that they are resting on that supports them instead. If the ring is supported well it should perform well.

I hit the "Local Resources" link on the left menu and noticed there were a few things out of date. The main one that stuck out to me is that Neptune Aquatics is not listed with AG in Milpitas.
