My tangs in the past have always loved Graciliaria. But I have never had a refugium to grow it out in. I'm wondering how fast does it grow, and should I have a combination of different macros in my refugium.

I didn't do it but, there is a plastic liner that is used to line the underside of bath and shower stalls. Made by a plumbing company called Oatley.

I have a 1/2 sea swirl. I was thinking of using it but the 1/2" model is said only to handle 550gph. I have an Eheim 1260 return pump. Will the extra gph keep it from rotating?

Will the effluent clog up? Is that the reason for such a high rate?

I filled a media bag with the mud and a mangrove attached. Figured if I wanted to remove the mud this would be the easiest way. I did notice some cloudiness of the water, so far no ill effects to the livestock. I've never had a refugium so any input or advice would be great.

Well I finally broke down my 135g and added water to my 150g last night. I was able to transfer almost all the water from my 135 without stirring up the sand bed. So far so good. I was able to bring the water level up to right below the overflow line. I'm going to get all the plumbing going...
