That certainly looks more red then brown, and it doesn't look like it has been tweaked after judging from the egg crate. Maybe someone that knows more about pictures could chime in? Also would love to see something like this one...

Looking around, another post had said there was a lighter red one with blue spots but I can't find anything even close. If it is aquaculture, then in theory there could be more coming. Anyone have pics or links to interesting reef clams? A portion of the tank will have plenty of space for...

I have never heard of a red clam, the chap said it is a Vietnamese aquaculture.

Thanks, the drop off on fish from the chart is impressive. Really shows you need to be putting your food right back into the fridge, something I have missed once or twice.

That is the design I have looked into, seems the best way to constantly dose fresh food. It seems to me, that a mini-fridge and Bubble Magus with all the connecting lines is going to come in under $500 and have 3 feed options. Wonder what the difference in power usage is.

Do you guys think the best is still the mini-fridge?

Rygh, apparently there is a sock that fits over the unit and plumbing. They were referring to the insulation condom...strange Europeans. :-)

The person that had the tank ended up selling it for 5k less then I was offering. ( So, back to 1-2 years out, and lots of money... :-(

Very clean system. Are you noticing an increase in n & p? I like the concept of bio pellets, but was never able to get it dialed in. Might give it a go with the new xl pellets.
