I've directed powerheads to nems so it will stay away from corals. It works to a point, it would go the other way, but I can't really direct them to a spot. Its just moves to where it wants, really.

Mine is finicky that way. Even just shifting the position of the reflectors a bit, the 'nem would move. I'm guessing it's now acclimating to the new bulbs by moving away from the direct light.

Here you go =48 ÷ 2(9+3) expanding =48 ÷ (2*9+2*3) since parenthesis is priority = 48 ÷ (24) = 2

Even though multiplication and division are at the same level (so the left-to-right rule should apply), parentheses outrank division. So, 48 ÷ 2(12) = 48 ÷ 24 = 2. Matthew is correct.
