I've always read from many sources that you wanted to take time acclimating fish so as not to shock them. So that's what I always did. Dripped for about an hour. Gresh stated that if the acclimation went past 30 mins there would be less dissolved oxygen which I never even thought about...

you're right. i finally dialed it in correctly and the clicking stopped. at first i had one full wavelength dialed in but it was hard to catch the sweet spot. i reduced the frequency to get just a half wavelength. the adjustments are hard because the potentiometer is so sensative. i used a...

I made the controller this week and it works fine but the 6055 clicks when it turns on. Is there a way to get rid of the clicking? I didn't make the wave box yet. Will that reduce the clicking?

I prefer Kalk reactors. I've had both but the kalk reactor is so much simpler.
