The Tech M worked for me. You should buy a test kit if you're going this route. I was gonna pull my hair out until I tried this. It's been gone since then but maybe because the dictyota and caulerpa absorb all the nutrients.

seachem is nice but takes a long time. the calcium is actually precipitated from the water and filtered out to give a more accurate reading.

these would be nice if you didn't have individual reflectors but won't have nearly as much output.
